Programme
Enjoy the immortal melodies of Nino Rota and John Williams, composed for films as influential in the history of cinematographic art as The Godfather, 8½ and La Strada (by the former) and Jurassic Park, Close Encounters of the Third Kind and E. T. (by the latter), in arrangements for band and conducted by Ximo Tarín. These pieces, omnipresent in our collective memory, practically internalised as mythical truths that seem to have been with us forever like a veritable soundtrack to our lives, will once again resonate to celebrate the magic of audiovisual narratives, augmented by the evocative power of music.
